Terry Martin, professor, jazz author, critic, and collector. Terry Martin is a Professor in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology at the University of Chicago. He has been involved in the Chicago jazz scene for over five decades, including as a board member and committee chair of the Jazz Institute of Chicago, participation in the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, and author of liner notes and articles.
